Arriving at Area at 11:30, meeting Bannerworx affiliate Laura E & Josie we made our way into the venue, straight into the main arena to be greeted with the sounds of El B tearing up the set in his usual format of dubplate after dubplate pressure which I can't wait to listen back to on the forth coming CD pack from Dub4Life.

This is it folks, the LAST BREAKIN SCIENCE of 2009, so don’t say we didn’t warn you!! As always, Bannerworx Media will be in the place, capturing all the moments, and in addition to our usual, we will be recording this event as well, in HD of course, and all the video footage will be put up on Youtube for the world to see, so we suggest you get yourself fully ready for this, another Breakin Science road block affair!!!

Once again, it’s that time of the year, when the City Of London turns into the rave capital of Europe. If you don’t know what we are talking about, then we suggest you keep reading….CARNIVAL WEEKEND

This event truly was what they call a road block!! From the front to back, side to side, and even in the smoking area outside, there was no escaping the heat, proper sweat pit sauna business. Drum & Bass MC Eskman celebrated his birthday with the crew from BREAKIN SCIENCE and Overload. Upon arrival, we were warned "It's ram in there", But little did we know, just how ram it was.

Overall it was a good night, shout to the full BREAKIN SCIENCE family for another stomper of a night, and we look forwad to the next event.

What can be said apart from “We did it Propa!” On Friday 7th August, the foundation that brought you the monthly night “FOR FUNK SAKE”, at Brixton Hill’s Southside Bar, launched their new alternative night in a way that many other promoters just don’t seem to even attempt, On the river Thames!! Yes, that’s right, to launch their new night “Doin’ It Propa”, the guys and gal from Headz Of House, took us all on the Pride OF London, and had us dancing until we docked back at Millennium Dock aka The London Eye.

When Dr G told me of this, I have to say, I wasn’t the most up for it person, but as the weeks passed and then I had a browse online at the actual venue, for me it was a GO! On the night, as usual, people decided to turn up 5 minutes before the planned time for cast off to begin the party, this included the guys from SOUND SUPREME, who were later than most!! But once we all boarded the boat, the party was straight into full swing, no time for sitting or hugging walls, the music and vibes were electric, and the scenery as we cruised down the Thames had to be one of the best backgrounds for a London based party ever.

Time flew past with DJ’s Tempo, Melo-D, The Sound Supreme, Dr G and Sus, who kept the top deck dance floor area with the vocal assistance of Icing & Nabz. To say some people really took advantage of the reasonably priced bar, would be a understatement, there were allot of drunken folks going home once we docked back at the London Eye and bid farewell to what can only be described as “The Rave of 2009” thus far. We look forward to the next event that the Headz of House will be putting on, and you can certainly expect to find BANNERWORX in the house, so make sure your smiling and DOIN’ IT PROPA!!
